Once you have registered, you will be contacted about your eligibility and once this approved, you can go ahead and get matched with a family.

Finding a match

They can also contact refugees through charities, faith groups or local community organisations.

These include:

• Refugees at Home, a charity connecting refugees and hosts
• Room for Refugees, which has previously settled unaccompanied child refugees with families
• Shelter 4 Ukraine, a Ukrainian-run service which registers hosts and refugees
• Reset, which has run a community sponsorship scheme for refugees since 2018
• Opora

There are also many unofficial facebook pages that you can use to find a match.
